Monel 400 Flat Bars  has good magnetostrictive properties. Alloy K500 Flat Bars (UNS N05500) are resistant to various reducing chemicals & caustic alkalies. Nickel & cobalt base corrosion, temperature and wear-resistant alloys, such as MONEL K500, are categorized as moderate to hard when machining, however, it must be highlighted that these alloys can be machined by using conservative production approaches at reasonable rates. Our Monel 400 Flat Bars are often used in cladding for the upper areas of oil refinery crude columns, and also for propeller and pump shafts. 

Monel 400 C-Channels exhibit excellent corrosion resistance, are particularly suitable for reducing conditions, and exhibit excellent resistance to rust. Our Monel Alloy 400 Chains (UNS N04400) have a low rate of corrosion in seawater combined with excellent resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in the majority of freshwater. This resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions has led to its widespread use in marine applications and other non-oxidizing chloride solutions.
