Alloy 600 Flat Bars (UNS N06600) can be cold worked below 1200 Degree F (649 Degree C). Hot working should be performed between 1600 Degree F and 2250 Degree F, avoiding any work in the range of 1200 Degree F to 1600 Degree F, because the ductility decreases in this temperature range.

 The alloy has superior resistance to Carburization. It is a phenomenon that occurs in processing based industries where gas mixtures contain hydrocarbons or Carbon monoxide come in contact with any steel. Carburization generally weakens many regular steel grade and affects their ability to resist both oxidation and sulfidation, due to the depletion of chromium in the matrix and the formation of carbides on the surface of the pipe.

Incoloy 800  Welded Pipe/Tube is part of an austenitic grade of stainless steel. An Incoloy 800 Pipe is designed with a composition of nickel, chromium, iron, manganese, molybdenum, and other components. This gives the Inconel 800 Pipe excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance properties across stress-induced setups.

Alloy 800 , which has useful oxidation resistance through 1800 Degree F. Although cold workability of Incoloy 800 Nipple is similar to austenitic stainless steels, work hardening tends to be slightly lower. Incoloy 800 Nipple was intended for high temperature structural applications, and has further modifications to the combined titanium and aluminum levels to ensure optimum high temperature properties. 

Chemical and petrochemical processing industries use these Alloy 800 Flat Bars (UNS N08800) for heat exchangers and other piping systems in nitric acid media especially where resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking is required. For high temperature applications requiring optimum rupture and creep properties, Nickel 800 Flat Bars are used. Do not heat above 1800 Degree F or grain growth will occur with degradation of strength. Annealing after cold work hardening may be required.

Stub ends that are suitable for applications where high corrosion resistance and high strength are required. The nickel content in stub ends provides high resistance to elevated temperature oxidation and corrosion. Inconel Stub ends lock the ends of the connecting pipes. Such facilities are very important, especially when the materials flowing within the pipe are harmful or acidic

Inconel 625 pipe is made of these components along with molybdenum making it resistant to corrosion. The ASTM B167 Inconel 625 Welded Pipe contains a high amount of nickel. This allows it to be used in seawater, freshwater, and neutral salts where there is large amounts of corrosion and erosion processes taking place. 

This Alloy 625 Flat Bars (UNS N06625) can be welded by both manual and automatic welding methods, including gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, electron beam and resistance welding. Postweld heat treatment of the weld is not necessary to maintain corrosion resistance. Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings are strong and are used in high corrosive applications that need stronger pipes. The material is a nickel chromium molybdenum alloy with niobium in the composition for stabilization. It can operate from cryogenic temperatures up to 1093 degrees Celsius. So the fittings are preferable for applications that require high strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.

The Incoloy 825 alloy consists of nickel, chromium, and iron in the chemical composition along with titanium, copper, and molybdenum. The Incoloy 825 Round Bar is primarily known for providing excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and intergranular corrosion. Alloy 20 C-Channel is annealed in the 1600 Degree F – 1650 Degree F (871 Degree C – 899 Degree C) range and then air cooled to relieve cold working stresses. Alloy 20 Chain should not be exposed to temperatures of 2000 Degree F (1093 Degree C) or above due to embrittlement. 

 The Monel 400 Welded Pipe can be used at temperatures as high as about 1000° F down to cryogenic temperatures. Apart from having good resistance to alkalis, the  ASTM B725 UNS N04400 demonstrates excellent resistance when exposed to solutions containing neutral and alkaline salts.
